WhatsApp is one of the most popular app right now and the features it offer makes it even more interesting. With the latest features of it you can make free video and audio calls to anyone using WhatsApp. The limit of group members is also increased from 100 to 256 recently. Loaded with features, WhatsApp is currently being used by more than 1 billion people around the world. If you are using WhatsApp then you might be aware about all of its features. If not, then you should use it more to explore its features and use them to save your resources and time. One of the best feature according to us is group creation.
You can add about 256 persons in group and then exchange messages, audio notes, documents, images, videos and more. This feature comes handy when you want to create a discussion group or you want share something with multiple persons. You can easily create whatsapp group links or join WhatsApp group or invite others to join your WhatsApp group. You can also create a WhatsApp group invite link which you can share or paste anywhere to allow others to join your group with having their contact numbers.
How To Create WhatsApp Group Invite Links
- First of all you have to click on the WhatsApp group tab bar to open your group info.
- You can also click on the 3 dots and tap on Group Info.
- Now scroll down and there you will find an option called “Invite via link”
- Tap on that and a new page will open with your group invite link and other options.
- On this page you can either send the WhatsApp group invite link to someone in your contacts or you can copy/share the link to other apps.
Share invitation link to WhatsApp group
Once you’ve copied the link, you can send a WhatsApp group’s invitation by pasting the group invitation link to all the apps you need for your smartphone, such as messages, other chat apps, web pages, forums, social media.
When you click on the “Share” link, you will see a familiar pop-up that shows a direct link to an application already installed on Android phones like Facebook, Messenger, and Twitter etc.
Restrict or Revoke group members from messages
Well, now we have an invitation link to add WhatsApp groups and members. Of course, you do not have to allow all members to send messages to the WhatsApp group you created. I do not want to overflow with all the forwarding messages of the WhatsApp group you created. You can restrict group members from sending messages within the WhatsApp group.
To restrict messaging, go ahead and open only WhatsApp> WhatsApp Group Settings> Send Message> Administrator. If you limit the WhatsApp group, members will not be able to send messages to that group. And when they open the group, only the administrator will be able to send messages to the group.
The last option is the Revoke link. When you click the Revoke link, the newly created link that you have created will stop working immediately. This means that no one can join your WhatsApp group unless you create a new WhatsApp invitation link. This is to protect people from sharing daily tips and tricks on specific topics like stock market, finance, health, etc.
